It was a privilege to present Treasure Boxes and McAuley Community Care with a cheque from our school community.
Our biggest fundraising event, Mercy Day was in the last week of Term 3 thanks to the initiative of our Year 5 & 6 students who planned and created items for sale that they sold from their stalls at lunchtime.
At our Assembly hosted by Reception on Monday 18 November, Elisa Curtis, Coordinator at Treasure Boxes was present to receive a cheque for $1,051. Emily Bowden, Coordinator of McAuley Community Care also accepted a cheque for $1,051.
It was so appreciated by our community to hear Elisa and Emily speak of how useful these funds will be to support families in need in our school community and the greater Adelaide community.
