Thank you Sacred Heart College for visiting McAuley on your Band Tour.
It was amazing to see so many familiar faces perform on stage sharing the joy of music. It was a special opportunity for our current Year 6 students to be inspired to join the music program when they start at Sacred Heart College in 2025. Some of these musicians were beginners this year in Year 7. The SHC Drumline, Concert Band, Choir, SuperBand and Year 9 bands took part in the morning performance.
The Concert Band energised audiences with their lively renditions of Funky Town and Oompa Loompa, while the Choir and SuperBand teamed up to deliver a breathtaking performance of Skyfall. The Year 9 Bands kept the energy high with their performances of Take Me Out and Shut Up and Dance.
