A rotating group of Year 6 learners, supported by Educator Mrs Sarah Graham, broadcast from our Radio Station next to their Learning Neighbourhood every Monday and Tuesday with a morning and afternoon broadcast.

We launched McAuley Radio in May 2021. Term One each year is spent in broadcasting education for our learners, ready to launch in Term Two.
During these last three years, we have been honoured with some special guests and we were privileged to hear their stories. Stay tuned for an announcement of our 2024 special guests that will be interviewed in Term Four.

The world of radio broadcasting with script writing and engaging programming has now been discovered by Year 6 as the rotating groups prepare for their session by researching community events, school news and guest interviews. There’s even a weather forecast!
