In 2025, Neighbourhoods are based on the following groupings - Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6.
Students have a designated classroom teacher within their Neighbourhood. The teacher is the primary contact for communication about matters relating to your child.
Students work with their teacher for English, Maths and other lessons. During Inquiry and Investigations, students may work in year level groups. They attend Specialist Arts, PE, Music and Language lessons with their class mates.
Neighbourhoods assist teachers to collaboratively plan, implement learning programs and explicitly teach skills and concepts to the whole class, as well as in groups, according to their learning needs.
